Chairman Del Beccaro Statement on Vice Presidential Debate

(SACRAMENTO, CA) -- California Republican Party Chairman Tom Del Beccaro this evening issued the following statement in response to the vice presidential debate, held this evening in Danville, Kentucky:
"Tonight Joe Biden was too aggressive with the facts let alone his demeanor. For a sitting vice president to say regarding our Libyan detail that 'we weren't told they wanted more security' is outrageous. His statement that he didn't know how long it would take to get unemployment below 6% is a clear indication that they have no plan. Further, while Biden's aggressiveness and rudeness may have helped him with the Democrat base, he likely scared off voters in the middle. For his part, Ryan held his own, spoke about actual plans and didn't make any gaffes. All in all, this debate will not slow the Romney/Ryan momentum."
