Speaker:  Cindy Elizabeth Saalwaechter, San Joaquin Human Trafficking Task Force

Topic:  Marin Has Its Own ‘Epstein’ Problem – Human Trafficking is Slavery

Human trafficking is rampant in Marin County according to the Marin County Civil Grand Jury Report 2016.

Our speaker, Elizabeth Saalwaechter, is a Republican and retired educator who became involved with community issues and needs thirteen years ago. One issue close to her heart has been the McHenry House Family Shelter where she specializes in fund raising. She joined the Tracy Woman’s Club in 2012 and has held various board positions. During her tenure as the chairman of the Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Committee, she worked with the Tracy School District in implementing their district-wide Anti-Bullying Program and developed a Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Program. She is presently working with the Tracy West Valley Mall Security, Tracy Police Department, and San Joaquin Human Trafficking Task Force on Human Trafficking and Awareness and Prevention.

Elizabeth was born and raised in the Bay Area. She has been married for 39 years, has one son, and makes her home in Tracy, California. She earned a teaching credential from San Fran-cisco State University and did graduate work at Cal State East Bay University. She received the Dublin School District Recognition Award, the Mason-McDuffie Education Foundation Award, the Alameda County School Administrators Amador Valley Charter “Teacher of the Year” Award, and was selected for Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.

Join us. Get your questions answered about this stunning and rampant issue in our community.

Special invited guests are New Day For Children, Marin County DA, Wisdom International.
