Our Endorsements for the June 2 Primary

Endorsement Policy
The Marin GOP has a policy of endorsing Republican candidates for federal, state and local office. This happens in both the primary and the general elections. The endorsement process is generally done in meetings open to the public. For contentious or potentially divisive contests, the endorsement process is conducted in a closed session.
Candidates are allowed to give a short presentation to members in person, or by Zoom or via a pre-recorded message. Members then ask questions of the candidates appearing in person or by Zoom. Members are then allowed to speak in support of or in opposition to a candidate. A vote is taken after all candidates for a particular office are finished. A two-thirds of majority in support of a candidate is needed to receive the endorsement of the Marin GOP.
